The Lathe Machine

Lathe Machine is a machine tool that rotates a workpiece about an axis of rotation to perform various operations such as cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling, deformation, facing, and turning, with tools that are applied to the workpiece to create an object with symmetry about that axis.

CNC lathe machine-operated with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems and provided with precise design instructions, CNC Lathes are machine tools where the material or part is clamped and rotated by the main spindle, while the cutting tool that works on the material, is mounted and moved in various axis.

In the sisters of Mary schools Boystown, they have many machines that are used in forming products just like the “grinding machine, drilling machine, cylindrical machine, milling machine, and lathe machine.

The purpose of this blog is to inform people about the machines specially on how to used it? and what product can be made using it? in the sisters of Mary schools Boystown, Inc. there are many TVET subject which student can experience just like SMAW, AUTOMOTIVE, EIM,BPP, MECHATRONICS, CSS, VE SMO and MACHINING. Speaking about machining it is the most expensive shop here in the sisters of Mary because practically machine cost a millions . in our shop it wad divided into two: the CNC lathe machines and the AUTOCAD. first is the CNC lathe machine here we make a product in a program form which means that it is already computerized and the machine will just operate to make the product. the operator should be careful in setting the machine. Because one wrong click would destroy everything, that is why it is important to be careful and make a draft first before the operation. second is the AUTOCAD it is with the used of computer to draw something using the apps itself AUTOCAD. you may wonder what is the meaning of CAD. CAD means computer aided design for instant AUTOCAD applies the same concept in Technical drafting however it only differ of the drawing or activity given.
